Any clean tube amps to recommend? With high headroom. I'm not keen on fender sparkling/chimey cleans. A single channel will do.

my brother! i was gonna get back to on this one...

because i know you're a pedal enthusiast, you should check out LANEY's VC tube amps. the default drive has a vintage vibe to it, but that's not primary to you, you want a good, tube-based, clean tone, this one has it. VC-30 112 is one to try 8)

with reference to the LANEY VC/ LC models, i wouldn't recommend them on non-SALE days, it's all about the price...

not many cabs over @ BB showroom, but the Ibanez Thermion 4X12 (straight face) is a very good unit to own. would be about $350++ only during sale.
