subversion - any dimarzio vir vin tele neck chrome pups & what's estimated discount price?

since the DS1 is out of stock, i'm looking towards teh Ibanez tube screamer... a few questions on it tho,

what's the diff? TS9, TS9DX, TS7 etc all the variables confuse me. and i heard somewhere that one's a MIJ, which and does SL stock it? thanks in advance for your help :)

all TS9/ 9DX/ 808 are Jap.

TS9/ TS7 sound similar, but each pedal hails from a differen series. TS7 has a booster mode so more gain for you (but more background noise). TS7C is a limited production TS7 in green, no diff in tone.

TS7DX is a TS9 but has selectable levels of boost, some are bass inclined, too much to such an extent that it gets fuzzy, fuzzier than an average fuzz box.

TS808 is a a vintage sounding TS9.

The TS808 REISSUE and TS7 are different as such:

1) 1 opamp and 1 resistor difference in the circuit, less than $5 worth.

2) TS808 reissue costs 3 times more.

3) Oh ya ts7 has the extra mode

The TS808 Reissue and TS9 are different as such:

1) 1 opamp and 2 resistors difference in the circuit, less than $5 worth.

2) The TS808 reissue costs 1.5 times more.

The TS9dx adds to the TS9:

1) several sets of diodes that are switched by the MODE knob.

2) several capacitors also switched by the MODE knob.

giving you the so called:
TS9 : "The classic TS9, no modifications"
+ : "Grittier than the original TS9"
HOT : "Crunchier tone with boosted mids"
TURBO : "Powerful, bottom thick sound."

Hey sub i'd like to
withdraw:
DS1, MT2, DD20

and instead put myself down for ONE TS9DX :D

thinking about that bass wah... heh... >.< that shall wait for the next sale i guess :D

my experience with the TS9DX is that the initial 2 modes are rather useful, the remainder options adds excessive bass to the output- fans of bass notes chugging would dislike this. it's overkill with a 7-string, undefined notes to say the least.

subversio oic - tot U missed my post ... thanx, if U do hv 1 I'll def be by to get it
