swee lee has no Marshall amps- they are not the official dealer. whatever Marshalls you see are leftovers, some of which are about a decade old...

tube amp talk in response to bluepowder's request...

this sale, if you are after a top end tube unit, do consider:

*Peavey JSX (head)
*Peavey Triple XXX 112
*Fender 59 re-issue Bassman
*Fender Deluxe Reverb
*Fender Twin

these units will appease those who are after a good default drive, the JSX was voiced to be a little more varied tone-wise. it also has a default noise-gate, very useful this one. if you adore Fender's tube tone, the above-listed models should be sensible investments since they are 50% off.

some mid-priced models to consider:

*Laney LC30II
*Laney VC15
*Laney VC30
*Peavey Ultra 112
*Peavey Triple XXX Super40FX

the LC/ VC range saw a sharp increase in price WEF 2005. i wouldn't recommend them on non-sale days due to the price factor per se, but their tone is respectable. if you are looking for above-average clean tones but couldn't get along with what Fender has to offer nevermind if the Twin is revered in many aspects, Laney's LC/ VC models are the ones to check out, be quick though as stock are down to like 5/ less...

any budget tube unit to acquire this sale?
