Hey SUB dude!

I am having a hard time deciding on either a Epi LP standard/ standard plus, Epi LP Studio or Epi LP classic/ classic plus !!!?

Wen.

Epi Studio- devoid of binding

Classic/ Std/ Custom- very little differences between these Epi units, they do not replicate the real Gibson models faithfully.

if you value good tones, do invest in models with American pcikups as default.

i deem the Boneyard/ Zakk Wylde models to be significant in terms of feel & tone when it comes to Epi models.

Opps!

Opps forgotten to state that i have a budget to go along with, 600 bucks...

Btw Epi LP on sale dont go with a hardcase right?

Wen.

NEWS

*Epi LP Custom not available in white
*Epi LP Black Beauty (3 humbuckers) available
*Epi Explorer Korina version available

all Epi models subject to 50% off unless otherwise stated

8O 8O 8O If the Korina is 50% off then it's gonna be damn affordable as hell and I've been gassing for one...

sub, how do those Korinas sound compared to the Goth Explorer? I really don't wanna get a Goth coz I already own a black Gibson SG...a bit of colour in wouldn't be so bad

i've played the original Gibson Gothic series, despite their quirks, they are very good tone-wise. the Epi Goths, sadly, do not replicate the gibson version in terms of tone. it's nevertheless an above-average player but there's nothing special other than the looks.

the current Korina Exp is a little heavier than the Goth (lacquer finish) & churns out more bass as such. the covered humbuckers also filters excessive midrange to make this guitar classic sounding with the correct drive settings, but lacks warmth IMO. a good player this one. please do not look forward to an authentic gibson tone.
