are they all set up already? do u have an estimate price after the dis't? thanks alot

set up by the factory- yes.

relating to experience, i had to adjust the action to my liking as the default was kinda high. no other issues.

went down today, and the salesperson told me that they are not sure wether the highway1 would be 50% or not.. :(

haha i'm eyeing on the 60th anni strat. how many pieces of these are left?

so far i seen onli 1 piece, but sub will update the availability of the stock near the sale day.. however, i got to noe from sub that the 60th anni strat is a nett item, so the 50% does not apply (although there will still be discount on that day).

jus though u might wanna take note of this..

PLEASE READ THIS

in my effort to help fellow SOFTies here secure certain items on the SALE day, it seems that swee lee have been receiving calls to cite the item availability with reference to the matters discussed here as the final authority.

please note that swee lee reserves that authority & the item availability on the SALE day depends on the stock's final figures towards the sale event. it's no use letting you know that are 5 guitars available for instance when, on the SALE day itself, only 3 are provided. we cannot stop people from buying the desired items on days prior to the SALE.

please do not question/ insist that a certain item is guaranteed to make their way to the BB showroom on the sale day. citing the Highway1 guitars as an example, there are currently NO H1 strat on display at the BB showroom- the reason why staff cannot confirm whether it'll be on sale come 1st July. however, i'm trying to help you make this item available on the sale day if:

1. There is enough interest generated by this thread
2. Stock indicates availability

there is an understandable enthusiasm generated pertaining to this sale event (it's happening to me too), do exercise restraint.

hey sub,

i am very interested in a fender strat, budget of around $700. hardware wise, a highway1 would be better to a 60th anniversary that is MIM right?

i tried the 60th anni strat...WHOAH! sounds damn good man for the price esp...tempting very tempting...i may just buy it after the sale, saves hassle of queuing...

and the h1 strat is a good deal too

News: Highway1 (2006, featuring the Greasebucket tone system) Telecaster, sunburst finish- available.

availability update will be made known by Thursday 29th June 06 (or earlier, i'll try my best...)

the JV strat has a wonderful set of pickups but the V-neck profile will appeal to selected players. if you prefer a similar voicing but a rounder neck feel- the 60th Ann strat should be one to check out.

all this talk about the sale ...makes me wanna go down & grab a Deluxe Squier .... or do SL have standard squier strats in black / rosewood fig board?
