Religion can be bad for your health:
Ah hah, another piece of empirical evidence regarding something else.
911 has nothing to do with religion...with a little common sense u can see why...

Al-Qaeda's spokesman, Sulaiman Abu Ghaith, said in a video sent to al Jazeera and broadcast in October 2001 the following:
"The Americans should know that the storm of plane attacks will not abate, with God's permission. There are thousands of the Islamic nation's youths who are eager to die just as the Americans are eager to live."
I just want to point out something here... don't want to get anymore involved in religious debate, of which I am extremely weak at.IS IT STATED IN THE KORAN THAT MUSLIMS DRINKING ALCOHOL MUST BE CANED ... ????????? or is this just a man made law based on the "authorities concerned's" guidelines ...
For all others in this debate, may I urge you to sit back and think about what you say BEFORE you say it.
Lets all sit back, take a chill pill, and make our own music eh?
I am not making a statement, I am asking a question which had already been answered. for me, that is the end of the story, regardless of were ever or whose ever jurisdiction it is.
I sure as hell dont impose my views on others and other damm well better not try to impose their views on me.
Aiyah... I'm not talking abt you lah! My first paragraph was an attempt to help you find what you were still looking for. The rest is directed elsewhere. Apologies if it was misleading.
balloons:
Visa: I don't bow down to anybody either; but that doesn't give me the right to impose my views on anybody else. It's a simple rule of thumb; treat others as you would like to be treated. Did your religion not teach you that? Because I learnt it in kindergarten. Religious or not, you're being a hypocrite.
Balloons:Perhaps you should strive to know by now that, you cannot judge any religion based on what their followers or preachers say and do.
Visa:That's ridiculous! So it's justified to preach love and practice hate? Does a government have legitimacy if it has sound policies but corrupt officials? Again, religious or not, you're being a hypocrite.
Balloons:You just have to go and read the scriptures and understand them. In case you cannot understand after reading the scriptures, you may want to enrol yourself in basic Arabic,Sanskrit,Hebrew classes, and mind you, translations are often full of errors
Visa: All scriptures which exist today are "full of errors"- they have been passed down from man to man, from generation to generation, and experienced rewrite after rewrite for thousands of years. What you might consider to be "the Word of God" is in fact what the powerful and influential men of history have defined it to be.
anyway, i help to click on the report button already, reason given for reporting, "softies living it up the softies way of self destruction within discussion in forum"

I don't think much more needs to be said. Anybody who hasn't changed their mind thus far isn't going to do so anytime soon, so I am not going to beat a dead horse here. I do hope, however, that the perspectives presented have at least made some of you think more deeply about the issue. Think for yourselves.
