I don't think much more needs to be said. Anybody who hasn't changed their mind thus far isn't going to do so anytime soon, so I am not going to beat a dead horse here. I do hope, however, that the perspectives presented have at least made some of you think more deeply about the issue. Think for yourselves.

IMO, serves her right. She WAS/IS a Malaysian and should know the law there. Being a Muslim too, she should've known better. (EDIT: and she did it in a PAS controlled state too!! Talk about being stewpid!)
And if you visit someones country, you should abide by the law there. No excuses.

I just want to point out something here... don't want to get anymore involved in religious debate, of which I am extremely weak at.IS IT STATED IN THE KORAN THAT MUSLIMS DRINKING ALCOHOL MUST BE CANED ... ????????? or is this just a man made law based on the "authorities concerned's" guidelines ...
The Quran does NOT state that drinkers must be caned. It does state, however, that drinking is forbidden. THAT is the law. Caning itself is merely a penalty the law-breaker has to face. It could be flogging, jail, amputation or even burning at the stake. It's a sentence established by the Islamic Court in that particular state or country. The same offence might be differently sentenced in other Muslim countries.
For all others in this debate, may I urge you to sit back and think about what you say BEFORE you say it. Be a little more sensitive about each other's beliefs. Yes, no one has the right to impose their own belief's on another, but that unto itself is also a belief, and should be dealt with at arm's length.
All this talk about IQ vs Religion is also not helping. What? Are religious people dumb by that rule? Again another insensitive point. Bear in mind there are other reasons to why that graph posted exists. To make any form of judgement, one requires a depth of knowledge AND understanding of that knowledge.
Lets all sit back, take a chill pill, and make our own music eh?

Now about legitimacy, suppose you are a father, and i wish you would eventually evolved to be one. Or you are a school teacher. in conclusion:
No steel building, in the history of man, has EVER collapsed due to fire. 3 buildings collapse on the same day. 2 buildings were hit by "planes". The owner of the twin towers admitted "pulling" WTC7. ie Bombs in the building. So who planted the bombs in WTC7? Falling buildings fall over, not into their own footprint and not at freefall speed. Where is the resistance? Can physics and science be cancelled for one day
