i dont have really broad shoulders either.. but we'll see. ill drop by to audition the m80 cases when i pick up my amp. haha.

Just hafta show this off... Totally proud owner of the AC4TV Head & Cab. ^.^

Those who told you it's an amp meant for practice... THEY WERE WRONG~!!! Even at 1/4 watt this thing is loud in my room... Volume not even halfway at 1/4 watt makes me reconsider playing this at night... Maybe if there were some mods for a headphone out...

Naviros, consider changing the tubes on the thing if you want the amp to be sweeter.... I just did on my new AC4TV and it sounds alot sweeter now. The stock russian sovtek tubes tend to be a little harsh and brittle at louder volumes and breaks up a little fast.

the vox is wonderful indeed, i guess its much attributed to the celestion speakers.. dont know about the tubes though either way is still too loud for me past 3 o clock!

Any suggestions on what brand of tubes? I agree, they do sound rather harsh. In some cases sterile too... But I attributed that to my RG instead, hmmm...I sooooo want my Les Paul now...
 
@Jms : Hee hee... Using a suede leather Levy Strap. Its comfy too, cos its broad enough lapped on my shoulder and all. Mono straps are cushiony heavens though ^.^

@Hutkahn : Yes, it has been a horrible horrible wait... But I'm glad I've got it now ^.^

Nice TV you got there. Just collected my night train cabs yesterday as well.
Really awesome. Do check out the voxamp website for some setting guides.

Hey ...is that your Marshall sobbing in the corner.? Poor guy feels neglected already.:(
 
Just seeing u guys getting yer Vox amps inspired me to get one as well! I'll be heading to City Music today to place an order for the AC4TV but I know it will take long but good things come to those who wait :) Crazy price for an amp.

Such an irony..Me n Ized made the review on the AC4TV but until now haven't owned one yet at home cos I had to be tight on my expenses since I'm unemployed at the moment,but decided to stretch my budget a little bit far this time around.

dang, but the leather straps Ive seen aren't that nice. I dont really like the Levys ones. Looking at a smooth, jet black piece. just black. sth that doesnt stick to graphics on t shirts too... My taylor strap does that. and it gets kinda irritating at times..

looks like the small things do matter eh!
 
Shucks! All you guys got damn nice gears. Especially the /13 amp.

I'm in school now. Will upload my 14 year epiphone les paul when I get back. Oh and faizal, thanks for your review on the ac4tv. I'm thinking of placing my order this weekend. Do let me know if citymusic has any stock left or the next shipping date.
