dude.. they're made of plastic. HAHA

they came with a set of gold plastic single coil pickup covers too. but the pickups on that guitar were wax potted so nothing could be done abt it.

New favourite pedal! I like it so much I'm trying to get my hands on another so I can have 2 different sounds at the same time. The sounds it makes are insane, especially on the reverse pitch shift mode. Normally I use it for a mix of dry signal and a +2 octaves up, kinda like the effect heard in the riff for My Iron Lung. This one was made in Sept 1994. WTB!

jskadiang i had that pedal once. but for those pitch shifting octaves, there was this delay between the dry signal and the wet one i couldnt get rid off. that was one problem i found really irritating..

the delay was uninspiring too. haha how do u use it? with an expression pedal?

The delay doesn't bother me so much, since I have a dedicated Empress for that task. Nah I don't use an expression pedal. It's definitely crap for real harmonizing, as there's a gap between the dry and the wet signal, but to thicken up the sound it's great. I turn down the mix so more of my dry signal comes through, because I think the 1:1 ratio makes the pitch shifted signal a little overwhelming. The delay doesn't seem so noticeable to me when I use the settings in the photo.

I had a PS-2 once. But since i was using it for the delays, i swapped it out for a DD5 instead.

i rmb i had to dial in so much dry cos the wet signal was damn overpowering. i was trying to get ehx pog organ sounds but.. hahah how do i put this.

sounds like there are twinkles and twinkly sounds in the wet signal and.. hahahah i really dont know how to put it.

the delay between the dry and wet was what made me rid of it.. hahah

Yeah the PS-3 gets a little glitch-y when turned to extreme settings but I quite like it that way. To each his own I guess.
