haha wait! it just occured to me! i suppose if LNL employed a format where there are judges it could give all a chance to get on tv?
u know like an american idol kinda audition thing. wouldn't online voting somewhat mean that there's a chance bands with the most friends get to play on tv. i'm not saying that those that got in are not good and yes that there are really deserving people that got in. what i was thinking was that there may be say more capable bands but because they can't garner as much votes so they didnt' get in?
just a passing thought. please return to discussion. haha
and uhh i didn't join if anyone's thinking that i'm a sourgrape. lol.

They already have it in the form of the producer's pick and industry's pick, so that replaced the "ang moh lee ken idol" judging format.
Btw, i HATE "ang moh lee ken idol". It's a stupid show. And the worse thing that mediacorpse is doing this year is to bring back singapura idol! bad move!! boooooooo!!!!!!!

i think that is meant for those who watch it online on live'n'loaded tv. i doubt there's adverts when they screen it online.
they brought it back because it's a moolah making show. almost everyone watches it and will go all out spending tons of cash voting for their fave idol.
me too, hands down. make it a 2 hour show or two 1-hour shows per week. give bands 10 minutes of airtime, (playing 2-3 songs) we'll probably appreciate them better.
Live'n'Loaded is a great platform as compared to all the competition-esque shows that show musical talents. though, the producers' choice and sonic youths segments needs a bit more tuning, in whole everything's great.

i believe the bands uploaded their audio and video files on the website as a form of "soft" audition.
it's not the best idea but it's one of the faster way in selecting bands to take stage. studio auditioning might filter better bands from the rest but doing so takes more time. i don't think the producers are willing to spend that amount of time auditioning bands.

They did actually.. Studio auditions were held for bands that were shortlisted. Proof beyond doubt of the producers' dedication to this project.

Haha dude, some of them went for review sessions with the producers. But you do know that you can vote for yourself on the list? You never know if people are just voting for their bands all the way till they get to the no.1 spot. I'm just saying..
