I listen to rap/hiphop in singapore, but only if that person is very down to earth and really humble. I guess Rappers had this attitude that we can't accept it yet i guess.

Agreed.Be it metal, rock, hip hop.......be true . Also, try to suit to the environment, the culture, the people.......also weather lah.LOL!

bottomline of things, at least to me, is that performers/people can be who the heck they want to be, and critics should say whatever the heck they want to say.

change the way you are because someone heckled you or to cater yourself just for some self-gratifying praise? that's weak.

haha every week confirm got some rock vs rap argument. haha did anyone see shigga shay's grills. or braces i dunno. but whatever it is, like it or not, shigga shay's myspace has profile plays of plainsunset + caracal added up. so even if soft hates him, i'm quite sure he still has his fans.

one thing i can say, he can really fake (well i'm quite sure he's faking it) the accent quite well. 1000000x better than a million other local frontmen who try to make themselves sound american / brit / etc etc.

I admit that I feel kinda embarrassed watching a couple of performance on LNL so I do what is best for me ... watch CNA for a while :twisted:.

Coming here to trash the kid/group is not healthy. They have their own image, or whatever/whoever they try to be, so let them be.
