Live 'n' Loaded - Episode 2 on 3 Feb 8.30pm!!

there you are! i should have told that band you were in the middle of the audience. i swear i was SO tempted to go that.

the interview was... done! ok ba fun la. soo is very amused with shaun soh's laughter. must tune in to hear it on 987fm... heh.

Typical sourgrapes. You dont know how determined is he to make it big in the rap scene in sg as a person himself. Start yapping only if you can get on national teevee okie?:D

@milkmesto - hurhur, that would've been quite the irony no? :) they'd have to change their name after that though haha. (from present continuous to past tense!) ah, and has the interview already been aired? i'm not listening to the radio now.

Sourgrapes? I beg to differ. I give respect where its due. I enjoyed the beatboxer who collab with Jack and Rai. True, im more of a rock person and follows the local rock music scene but i appreciate every kind of music. There is no gangsta or hustling or drug-dealing or drive-by shooting in spore to begin with, so why act like one who knows it all?

He actually got some catchy beats to his songs, i just cant stand his antics and personality.

Lupe Fiasco is one rapper i have the upmost respect who is strong abt his beliefs and religion and is reflected on his music. :)

It's funny how it seems like one is only justified in his or her criticism if they get on TV, according to you. By that criteria no one in this forum is actually allowed to say a negative word about any of the performances?

I'm a big advocate for local talent and music, but I think everyone needs to be able to take criticism when criticism is due. I've heard his tracks before, and I'll admit the kid has good production values, wordplay and flow on record. But that doesn't take away from the fact that his performance was underwhelming, and I'm saying that with the hip-hop performances by Kay Swisha, Supreme One and Fatskunks on Episode 1 in mind.

Those artists did great jobs without feeling the need to put on a fake accent. Seriously, why feel the need to talk like you're from Harlem when you most probably grew up in Hougang? He talks about "repping the Lion City". He could start by speaking like someone who lives in it.

ignore keiith, he's stupid, or shigga's mother. and actually, kay swisha did have fake accents, i thought it was bad then, then shigga shay came along and gave me lots of entertainment.
for the record a fake accent tells alot about a person.

Rockin' Show!

Cameras were great! Angles were wonderful! Really enjoyed the whole filming of the show! So much better than episode 1! Thank you so much! Woo!

Jack & Rai had a nice song. Great job man! Really enjoyed the rest of the acts too! There was some fighting I think during some of the bands performances?? Looks really cartoonish la!!! Enjoy and support the bands la! Why fight amongst themselves? Haiz... Give you good music and you end up fighting. How to have huge concerts in future? Must have tag on their ankles that zap them when they start a fight? But still, the crowd was rockin' too. Have to give it up for their energy and support! How else could the bands have done so well?! It has to be the energy given back from the audience that made those musicians so pumped up! Most bands were great and some good! All in the process of making local music ROCK! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you LnL!

I was there in the studio. It wasn't fighting la. Just typical moshpit action. All were cool. GOOD SHOW!!!!! Enjoyed it alot, AVA was a great way to close! And they played so many songs!

Well, at least his music was tolerable and for me, enjoyable. Shigga had me laughing with his whole "Chinese Flute" thingy.

Blank: How bout you trying rapping? i'll see how you try to pull it off?

I didnt say that if you get up on tv you wont have critisms coming, sure there are bound to be haters along the way too.
I dont even listen to rap btw, So you can go ahead and Hit on these young talents that are trying to do something for themselves.I dont really see how certain people's critisms are constructive in anyway sometimes really, more like ruthless and selfish opinions that are often seen spitting on screens.

Anyway he lived in america for a period of time. The accent is partially due to that so dont just start assuming okie??

Lol im not his brother lah you want you can ask him personally :D

Btw Ava's set was the bombbbbbb!! \nn/

Agree, We Are Not The Same was aweesome. Loved the bit in the first chorus where Matt let the crowd sing and triumphantly spread his arms. That was a good TV moment, they should have gotten it on the middle camera instead. lol.
