Live 'n' Loaded - Episode 2 on 3 Feb 8.30pm!!

ITS TONIGHT! (and next tuesday, and the tuesday after, and so on...)

but yes.

ITS TONIGHT!

see you... or rather, see us ;)

Speaking on behalf of the band [Waiting For Nothing], the reason for pulling out is due to the commitment of my vocalist to the national slavery (or most would know it as NS).
NS commitments getting in the way of music & gigs.. OUCH. I know how that felt man. Hope you guys will get another chance @ rocking out the stage soon.

b-quartet PLEASE!
As much of a B-Quartet fan tt I am, I'm not sure if that will be a good idea.

One of the reasons I love B-Quartet's music is how they come up with tracks of epic soundscapes lasting 6-8mins. And that's only for the album. (folks who have caught B-Quartet's live shows should know ;))

I'm not sure if the band can (or even want) to try to compromise with the show's format & squeeze a song within 3 minutes. Even if they did, would it sound as good? Sometimes the process of music-making really can't be rushed.

I'm NOT saying I don't want B-Quartet to be featured on TV. In fact, I would love it if LiveNLoaded (or some other future Mediacorp show? *wink wink*) did live coverage of an entire 30-45min B-Quartet set. That'd be damn SHIOK, but hardly likely especially given how much obstacles the LnL crew has faced just to get LiveNLoaded approved by Mediacorp bosses for TV.

On a different note, I am excited about A Vacant Affair & Vertical Rush rocking live tonight.. Too bad I'll still be in campus @ 8pm... will try my best to catch the show on TV & sing loud loud to the songs! :D

PS: milkmesto -- Bro.. it might be only 3-4mins of screen time but you & the rest of VR rock that stage HARD yeah?

Thanks to blank and bro Perplexed bro for the love.

Unfortunately, due to drummer Hidir's National Service commitments, the boys would not be able to perform for Live'n'Loaded. We have explained to the producers who have kindky extended the invitation to B-Quartet to perform. It's a loss. Hopefully, there will be chances in the future!

Well, the good news is that they are returning to the studios to record their sophomore album which is slated for a year-end release. We hope lah. With all these NS commitments, it might be hard to complete the album by then. Let's see how it rolls. :)

That's right! Shigga Shay was actually at No.2 when we tabulated the online ratings on Friday evening, while the band Waiting For Nothing was No.1

But last evening, we received official notice from Waiting For Nothing that their vocalist is unable to make it for Tuesday's live show due to other commitments otherwise known as "national obligations". Pity. Therefore, Waiting For Nothing has withdrawn from Live 'n' Loaded. We wish them all the best nonetheless for their future path in the local scene.

So here we have it, this coming Tuesday, it's going to be a great show:
Vertical Rush "Your Last Song" & "Spaceman"
A Vacant Affair "We Are Not The Same"
Jack & Rai "The Falala Song" & "Fiona"
For This Cycle "Wishful Thinking"
Eden State "Crash Into You"
Finding Michelle "Mr Brightside" (The Killers cover)
Shigga Shay "Mama Told Me"

Be sure to also log on to our website at 5.mediacorptv.sg/livenloaded to watch the seperate webcast show hosted by 987fm DJ Soo & Jonny! Make sure u signup so you can participate in the live online chat as well!

If you're one of the lucky ones with tickets to the studio live show, do remember to bring along some cash so you can purchase the very limited edition Vertical Rush and A Vacant Affair x Revoltage tees!!!! The tees are at $50 for 2!!

Also, CDs of Vertical Rush and A Vacant Affair new releases will be available for sale!

i'm going & it would be better if AVA plays Cresfallen:)

I dont think AVA will be playing crestfallen on national tv. I'm not really suprised that they chose we are not the same, given that its much more radio-friendly compared to crestfallen.
