The way I see it, there's no such thing as crap music or real music. There's only music you like and music you don't like.

hmm,strange but true.. dont know if it is done with intention or without.. only the bands know the best.. haha.. from my point of view,(NO OFFENCE) its just another fault to find with the songs.. thats all.. you know ppl with no life and want to find mistakes or bad parts of others.. well,thats what i think.. cheers..

yeah pop music is somehow not appealing... IMO no offence.. they can reach up to the 1st in some charts for a day and gone they next day... and those rapping... some songs are nice.. but most are not. The first band i listen to was the click five.. they are pop. the first album was not bad but after they change their lead singer to duno who.., i turn off already... the vocals is like try to be rock but canot... and remains in pop... real music yeah slipknot haha... but real music dunhaf a definition and it is based on personal preference... fror people who listen metal, they will say pop is like shit man... and thinigs like dat.. for people who listen to rock, they will say pop too... people who listen to chinese/japanese/korean music, will say our real music the vocals got no talent and cant sing and say they cant dance and they must sing with one person and not a group.... :mrgreen:
YEAH MAN SUPPORT REAL MUSIC with instruments in them and not some solo singers claiming all the credit when they cant do without musical instruments...

teleplayer, why you don't like symphony??? They are usually played by close to 100 very good instrumentalist. They have been around for a very long time. Compared to classical, rock sounds like pop.

LOL. I also duno leh.... there seemed to be alot of something like restriction in them like piano and violin and whatnot. Rock music got the punch YEAH!:-D

I think music was meant as a purpose to deliver message in the form of songs in the first place. Look at me I play.., no idea what genre I play, rock, pop?...and yet I still listen, in fact I listen to a lot of thrashmetal songs when I do my drawings, I felt I can draw better that way, or I'll listen to baroque music, those by J. S. Bach when I am studying or feel like listening to it.
And yea, symphony orchestra is very beautiful in my opinion, but I think it's not easy to many people nowadays to deeply appreciate those compositions.
Can start by listening to Cello Suite No. 6 for a start? that's quite (ab)normal in the context of our normal music nowadays..haha :mrgreen:

Oh yeah! I forget about the thing called radio. Maybe that's the freq I've been looking for. I get rusty with these radio stuffs, I just go to imeem and listen instead..I enjoy Class 95.5, and that's about it..? lol

for me , i listen to all kinds of song , be it rap , pop , latin , classical , screamo or whatsoever ... but i'm much more into metalcore stuffs ...
i started listening to iron maiden when i was 7 ...
all of my uncles is those " rockers " type ... LOL ... =D ...
so i'm greatly influenced by them at such young age , and took up to play guitar when i was 12+ =D
