seventheaven

I got mine, i want to complain cos Shredcow potong jalan my queue number! 1 word for the sound out of it, HUGE!

That sucks... wait... you're talking about me?

Ehhhhh.... dun like that lah. It is only made all the more sweeter as you wait for it! :D

hey shredcow i saw u selling your openhaus on tgp.. seventheaven really kicked it off the board ah? haha

Actually. No. The 7th and Openhaus are 2 different things. There are things the Openhaus does better than the 7th and vice versa. If I had to put a finger on it and nitpick, I'd say the Openhaus feels & sounds better doing leads but the 7th is just more amp-like + better sounding on rhythm. Bear in mind I have the older Openhaus. Again, this is nitpicking and I can just make do with either one or keep both.

I just decided to be a Home Boy and support the Singapore side...

That said, I need something low-medium gain that can keep up with the 7th. I thought to sell the Openhaus and grab a Toneczar Dove.

Just went over to goose's side with niteblade to check out the seventheaven. Yes i've gotta agree it's a great pedal. More then what i was expecting. I'm more of a mid gain person who tends to crank the gain up to the point where it is crunchy yet muddy. My kinda sound was achieved on this pedal. :)

Gotta bring my trusty crunchbox over and compare alittle.(though crunchbox may not be the best to gauge) :D

oh yes.. and i was told that i missed shredcow.. haha..

its difficult to find a pedal this versatile...from shredders to metal to medium gain and much more.....Kudos to goose!! cant wait to get mine next week! :D

Hey goose, I'm also on the waitlist for the seventheaven and have a few questions. Was going to PM you but decided to post it here in case anyone else would like to know as well :)

1) Is it possible to get 18V of power into the pedal with a 1Spot? (You posted something about a 9V attachment to the 1Spot but I'm not quite sure how it works.

2) Could you explain the channel switching and such?

Thanks in advance :) Just a thought, perhaps you could set up a basic product info page that includes specs, features and updates on the waitlist? I think a simple wordpress or blogspot page would suffice. If you are keen, I'd gladly volunteer my services to set one up. I'm no web-design whiz, but can do a simple product page with pictures and such :)

As of now, goosonique.wordpress.com is still available!

goose needs to employ more elfs!!! I have a bunch of orcs and trolls that destroys everything... goose you want or not? half price....

use a 9 volt battery with a 1spot adaptor at the same time? if im not wrong, thats how the mi audio boost n buff works.

2) Could you explain the channel switching and such?

I know this...

Channel 1 = bypass (serious!)

Channel 2 = lower gain channel

Channel 3 = higher gain channel

Boost = Optimal gain level or lesser gain... not independent.

Note: Channel 2 cleans up better than Channel 3. They are NOT 2 of the same channel.

Feedback/Presence switch = toggles between Feedback and Presence control for that 1 knob. Changes character of the 7th.

Feedback sets the 7th to a darker, more loose-ish, bigger sounding distortion. Think wall of gain. More on the knob = even bigger sounds and the gain gets more saturated. It can get too big btw.

Presence is more a traditional kind of brighter, tighter tone... but the 7th is probably still bigger sounding than any pedal out there... The low end is tightened up too.

Something like that.

Yup you got it there shred!!

Tubescreamer and Dosh, you need a proper 18v adapter eg Dunlop 18v...or you can get a voltage doubler or PP2 and BBE supacharger users can get this special voltage doubler 'Y' cable where u use two isolated 9v and the special cable puts em in series making a single 18v output.
With one spot you get just one 9v ...the only way to 18v is with a voltage doubler.

Godlyke power pump
PP2 'Y' cable

Hope this helps...

Yo Ed who the trolls ?? :)
