seventheaven

Hi agrs...no its not as its an in line fet stage boost for both channels. So on bypass mode the boost does nothing only the led is on. This is done on purpose.
But the seventheaven can be a clean boost on channel 2 with drive down and volume up and engage boost switch for more ....e.g if you want to drive an overdriven amp.

Cool. The telecaster used in the clip, the pickups are true single coil or stacked/humcanceling? It's seems quite quiet on pretty high gain.

it sounds like an awesome replacement for my gt500 which i;ve been using pretty extensively!
i didnt rly pay attention to the start of the clip saying tt it was a tele... assumed the guitar was some heavy humbucker machine. but when i heard the clean sound i was amazed, this is seriously heavy!

Sounds really good!

Been searching for the right distortion pedal for the longest time, and i'm pretty convinced this might just be it!

Was about to pm u about it, but ur inbox is full heh.

Could u get back to me?

Thanks a lot bro!

How does it fare with true single coils at higher gain settings?

Depends on your single coil, where you're playing and where you're standing in the room doesn't it! :)

The SCN sounds and responds like a single coil but without the noise. Sounds great on it, and on my Suhr Pro S3 with the Suhr V60LPs (actual true single coils) but with the Backplate Silent Single Coil (BPSSC) System - http://www.suhrguitars.com/pickups.aspx - those just remove all hum but keep the tone full on. No issues there and yup. The pedal sounds great with single coils.

Sorry for e mia ...me dad was not feeling well...
..he is ok now.

Hey dan thanks for reply...:)
Yo itchy ...we tried it with 1974 Strat loaded with Franlin's...it had the usual hum but no added noise ... and owner of the strat ...got himself a 7th !!

wah i've been so busy with work these few days that i dint even see this thread! TSK tsk...sorry Goose!

Anyways this pedal is just freaking awesome....it is seriously the most AMP-like pedal in a box I've ever heard.....i guess for most of us used to playing linear op-amp based pedals, like your trusty ol' crunchbox into a clean amp....realised that such pedals just cant match the dynamics of a cranked up stack....don believe me, try cranking up a marshall jcm800 and set every knob to ten.....and try getting your crunch box to do the same thing on the clean channel

This pedal seriously opens up a whole new word when it comes to DYNAMICs....its so beautiful, if there's any other word to describe it, how the harmonics sizzle and the notes vary in volume depending on whether you pick hard or soft....roll back the volume and you can even get a semi clean tone...turn it up with a boost switch and you can get some serious crunch!

I'm still waiting for mine....but im convinced that it'll be the pedal to end my search for the pedal!

i just used the seventheaven for a gig just now.
i played with my hardcore/stoner band
the clarity of this baby is absolutely stunning. i really like the responsiveness.
i may develop a love/hate thing with the seventheaven. every little intricate details of your playing actually comes out bright and in the open. and that includes every mistake i made.
hahaha. this might very well help me in my sloppy guitar playing!
thanks ur special numero uno. cant wait for numero cinco to be on my pedalboard.

dearxarson live with seventheaven....

for me its not so much abt having alot of gain, to play in a metal/hardcore/stoner band like dear arson. i also have to keep in mind that it is A BAND in the first place, not me just wanking in my ROOM. plus i have another guitarist in the band as well.

anyway, i've always preferred my right hand dynamics to dictate the ACTUAL amount of gain that come out of the amp.

the red channel was a tad too deep for me during that day (the show was at SAM - EX SJI, the room had a really high ceiling and the amps were cheap ass smarvo. It was to easy to drive the amp. didnt need so much gain)

seventheaven has enough gain even on the green channel.
