Project Guitar of the Month - April 2010

eieio: yup, alder with maple top. The inspiration for this guitar came from two parts actually. Gapple88's Suhr Tele with the p90s, and I think it was edder's rosewood neck that he posted on soft a couple years ago.

The rosewood neck makes the tone a tad warmer, and combined with the semi-hollow body, this tele couldn't twang if its life depended on it The unfinished rosewood has a funky smell though.

My entry; although not with me anymore but I think would still qualify. If not, I look out for something else. On the outlook, nothing special with this guitar. The difference I suppose is in the simple but effective control. Leave the gain on the amp at full and switch around from piercing highs, to mellow OD, to plucking cleans, sustaining harmonics and kill switching.

so far i am enjoying the strat so much..very nice playability on the neck..
the pickups are too fierce for me though..lolol..

yep - based on faizalrock's last order - we saved more than sgd 60 per neck ... & thats not even considering if we had bought these necks from the local shops that wuld cost far far more ...

ok - next up I'm planning to do order from my fav fella - wd music - which now carries fender parts ... scope what u like, PM the part number then i will calculate the trader's dicount i can get. after all orfers finalized i will calculate total shipping then divide equally ...
