As some of you might have known the old Oriental express aka lucy liu saga, I
decide to continue with this 10yr old ebony epi luci, cpf cant take out yet la to buy a gibby.. eheh

tuners still stock(hold tune quite ok) nut haven't change yet, any suggestions? go locking or stay vintage?
modern classic alnicoII on left + jazz on neck wired by yours truly me, also replaced the tp-6 tail and bridge..

Yo Fgl, previously you told me it wouldnt be wise to route a Floyd cavity on a guitar which does not have it factory made. Whats the reason behind ah. You said smth along the lines of tuning pains? Anyone else feel free to enlighten the noob. Kthxbye.

well i hope it's not to late to enter mine here...

it's a '79 strat i received from my uncle.

i managed to salvage the stuck knobs with a switch cleaning spray but the 5-way was beyond hope..

so i replaced it with the best i can find (from fender, of course)

them i srewed everything back, took out a old toothbrush, lemon oil, brasso and finishing compound and spent a good 3hours worth of elbow grease to make this beauty shine as it should.
