The pedal is crystal clear, you won't lose any of the note definition, and all the dynamics are there, it's just amazing how transparent it is. Incredibly amplike.

Wow.. Such a small tubed pedal. Now can you pretty please-with-a-cherry-on-top let us know what it does? How come only one knob? Very intriguing indeed. Looks very much like a frequency and/or volume boost aka super chili picoso.

Ooo I hadn't expected this. The pedal is still a work in progress, though the basic idea is more or less there. There are actually a couple of components you can't see from those pics, they are under the board.

Vent holes are a good idea, I'll keep that in mind. It's actually possible to pump 9V into 18V. Godlyke has done it with their power pump:

I really haven't tested it extensively, so greg, feel free to leave it on overnight and see if it's still working. Keep it away from anything flammable though, I don't want it to start a fire, if that's at all possible. 8O

It's not an overdrive. I don't want to say too much about it yet, we'll let greg get the clips up. Suffice to say, it keeps your tone really clean. I reckon what greg means by crystal clear is the articulation of the strings.
