I had around maxium of 1.5k to spend, will you guys recommend me to get a lower end tokai or burnys(even though they are MIC, their specs look goody! real maple cap!)

That is one sweeeet looking Les Paul.

Plain maple top, and a faded tobacco or honey burst.

Droool.......

Suzuki guitars? ehhh i though they made cars and bikes. If you not looking used, 1.5k your pretty much stuck with the entry level MIJ tokais and Burneys. The higher speced models pretty much cost almost as much as the Gibbys.

Or a Gibson Les Paul studio. G77 has this mint Gibson Les Paul Special with a p90 neck and a p100 bridge in a very retro yellow with blackburst finish which is in your price bracket. Go check it out.

woah , i can see the wood of the body ...
gorgeous :o

is it possible to replace my present humbuckers with the single coil humbuckers ?

yeap. just swap them in like any another humbucker. i just put in P94s. although there are alot of other brands.

SD phat cats, Rio Grande Bastard/fat bastard, Harmonic design z90s.

if your looking for a big single coil sound rather than p90s, go look up the harmonic design z90s.

oh wait, u mean single coil sized stacked hums ah? those i dunno thought you wanted humbucker sized single coils.

i recommend everyone to try it. I have one at home and think it sounds fabulous and very very versatile. You can get very good classic rock/blues/jazz sounds out of it, and when you turn the gain up it wont be noisy as the p90s pickups do. Can even get some heavy metal "chug-chug" kind of sound out of it straight from the amp. Just turn the tone knob down and turn the gain all the way up. Absolutely recommended to those who favors simple setup and likes raw guitar sounds.

oh ya i love that cow print wall there too. shred you see that, thats how the skreddy shld look not like that beige thingy u have there passing off as a cowprint =p

what do you guys think of the Gibson LP Studio?

between that and a korean copy, like tokai, which do you prefer?

i have a budget of around $1100.
