What lines/excuses to use to ask a girl out

Honestly speaking looks are not THAT important when it comes to picking up chicks. Look at all the pick up artists in the world, they look like average joes, certainly not beefy hunks or anything, yet they get the girls. Girls look at certain traits in a guy that has nothing to do with looks, be it money, comfort or confidence/humour etc. Not saying that looks are not a plus point.
 
Girls always like bad boys. Regardless of whatever logic a guy can come up with in doing nice things for a girl all the time, being a bad boy and giving rare moments of sensitivity is the way to go. On a side note, I find it amusing that while reading this thread, all kinds of provocative words popped out from this post below, its in bold.

"girls like bad guys, don't like good guys". not true. girls just don't like desperados and wimps.

alot of the desperados and wimps think they are "good guys", which isn't really the case. just because you are desperate to do all the "nice" things eg sms her every 5 mins, turn up at her workplace to fetch her everyday so that you can see her etc doesn't mean you are nice, it just means you are desperate. imagine a girl hounding you all the time, how will you feel?

wimps think they are nice guys? think again. don't dare to tell her how you feel, don't dare to ask her out, because you "don't wanna break the friendship", "wanna take it slow" etc just shows a lack of courage in courting the damsel. how do you feel when a girl acts coy to you? you'll feel frustrated cos you don't know what is the message being put across. similarly you wanna court a girl yet don't dare to express yourself, how do you think she will feel? there comes a breaking point where she'll just give up on you and condemn you to her blacklist of guys not to date.

Haha, basically you managed to fully breakdown what I meant to say when I said girls prefer 'bad boys' to 'nice guys'. Very true, what you said.
 
from my own life experience, i would like to share it rephrased in my own terms :

1)bad boys were once nice guys who got their hearts broken by bad girls
2)bad girls were the good girls but were too naive and stupid who delivered themselves to the bad boys to abuse.and they're easily replaceable just as much as bad boys til they wake up their idea to their own worth of a real woman.some girls simply over do it.
3)good girls who never turned bad are too boring for both nice guys and waste of time for bad boys.
4)nice guys want all the bad girls they can never get, or they eventually don't get any as you can see the above first 2 lines catch 22 cycles. and have to settle for malaysian (usually the ultra conservative)/vietnamese/china woman.
5) is a category of woman a.k.a SPG who settles for foreign men who probably have an affair in every country... hey, you wanted romantic man right? haha.
6) is a category of man and woman who eventually will settle down with anyone like unwanted items for sale at Cash Converters before they hit andro/menopause.

nice guys are girl's best friend.

and the man who knows how to play both roles becomes their ultimate : husband.

thats why married men are more forbidden fruit.but there's no turning back after life contract.

at times.

If you go out with a girl thinking, one day you're gonna marry her

you're dead.

Enjoy the moment, savour each moment, whatever happens next it ain't up to you.

So even if it doesn't work out, you have them 'nice' moments to remember.

Again, if you wanna ask a girl out, just ask. If you think too much about it, it's probably just that.. too much.
