many bands are playing their own originals, lucify and rusty are 2 bands i know of.

During the auditions, most of the rock bands will sure play covers. Most of the bands who got in have originals too like Rusty Nailz and Amber. Sometimes, its quite dangerous to play originals especially for competition like SuperBand unless your original arrangement and music can be a hit song then the judges will sure like your band...

This is only on the presumption that the originals are not up to par with covers. In fact, it is on the contrary. Originals render additional consideration on the part of judges whereby covers are no extraordinary matters. So if you have a good original, flaunt it by all means.

Any comments on the live sound for the SuperBand Big Jam on last Sunday at Suntec? I personally very dissapointed on the sound level and mixing for most of the rock bands that performed. And the stage monitors are too far for the musicians to hear I guess...It affected some of the bands I spoken to...

I took a look at the chinese news and there they put the pictures of rustynailz, amber, and some other boyband.
