I wouldnt really say lack of bite (trying very hard to imagine the ZNNNG sound).. it's tight and aggressive, yet it's elegantly sweet.

The evos are really hot pups! I guess whitestrat is referring to the breakup you get when you dig in hard with single coils rather than the compressed cutting high gain tone you get with evolutions.

No, that's not what I was referring to. The Steve's Special, FRED, Tone zone, and most other pups have this cutting highs that the evolutions lack. the Evos seem to have a more upper mids characteristic than highs.

Yea. Thats what i noticed as well. Which gives the pick ups this hot and aggressive tone yet, it does not has the treble cutting feeling (if u know what i mean, really dunno how to put this into words. lol).

finally here. slightly over a week of waiting. my second warmoth, but 1st strat. so excited thought i'd post up what i got straight out of the box first before getting it fixed up tomorrow. probably not everyone's cup of tea but yeah, i like it. heh.

Deserves quoting man. That guitar is really nice, one of the nicest I've seen in a long time. And I rarely care about a guitar's appearance. *thumbs up*
