My "Super Red" Strat as I'd call it, easily retains the classic Strat sounds, especially at the 2nd and 4th positions when coil splitted.

Took MrBukka's idea , played with photoshop and logo just came out.

Would be nice to have your name on the headstock isn't it?
BTW, the Casino is great. Brought me a step closer to the Beatles

New guitar day! 2009 Fender Road Worn strat.

Got a friend to bring this in for me. I think Swee Lee carries them too, but at quite an upcharge.

Isn't she gorgeous? Perfect set-up out of the box too. Didn;t have to tweak at all.

The special feature is that the body is finished in 100% nitro lacquer, just like the originals and the current thin-skin reissues (rather than the typical poly finish).. the nitro paint job is so thin that I can leave a mark with my pick if I scrape it across! Looking forward to having the finish wear thinner and thinner over time with playing...

Haha, Ricfreak, thanks for ur efforts but before I saw ur idea, I already ordered a custom decal from Ebay with my soft id on it plus the words stratocaster and custom built on it. Hoho, since the decal tat I got is meant for standard size Strat headstock, I'm sure it will look small on my large headstock...oh well, up to the ppl to look closely at my headstock if they wana see the brand..this is why my Super Red is special : )

The pickups on my Strat wont be there for long though. Still waiting for my Stan Hinesley Kashmir neck/bridge HBs n Karma mid SC to arrive..so the pickups at the moment will do in the mean time.

I'm generally an LP player, but a worn strat like that makes my gas nerves tingle!

Nice! The roadworns are fabulous guitars. They're available at sweelee btw. but yeah. not the best prices.
