Just adopted this Polish baby.:D

Mayones (read :mayonnaise) Setius Gothic
Excellent finishes. EMG pickups.
Adoption Agency : Woodworkz

How's the quality of the Mayones? I wanted to get a Daniel Gildenlow siggy (AIR) but I heard bad reviews on the construction and finishing quality.

Hang on... Woodworkz is bringing in Mayones????

Yes Bro, Woodworkz brought in some Mayos.
Wow , the Daniel Gildenlow sig looks awesome. Looking for fretless? You damn pro liaoz man...:p

Call Ram to check out the other Setius. (if its still available)
The bass is also cool.

^ Really cool cabinet there. Reminds me a lot of those old rattan chairs, old radio/hi-fi speaker box, and old TV side panels back in the 1970's. Haha!

I thought I'd share a recent acquisition that I managed with the help of a very good fren to bring from Indon.

G 1 out of 3.

String through Floyd Rose! No need to snip your strings.

The key designer for this series of guitars was Rich Lasner, also the guy who did the Ibanez RG innovations. You can see the very special bolt-on cutaway featured here.

It's a Yamaha Pacifica 912J, with HS2-HS2-PAFPro (these were the stock pickups sold at that time).

My custom made all black Strat :)

Allparts 70s headstock with rosewood fretboard
Mighty Mite ash body
Tonedrive Locking tuners
Tusq graphite nut
Roller string tree
Wilkinson trem bridge
Tesla Extreme neck and bridge humbuckers
1 vol, 1 tone pots with orange drop
Tonedrive 3 way switch
HSH pickguard with empty black SC cover to cover up middle hole..heh..

Sounds great and this thing stays in tune well no matter how much I whammy on this fella..:P

Thanks to KC of Maestro Guitars for the hardware/setup/intonation installation and to Beez for the wiring of pots, switch, input jack and pickups :)

^ Steve signs other guitars too?

I dunno. I actually bought this for the guitar alone.. the Vai signature was a surprise!

The signature seems fairly authentic to me in any case. Came with sticker removed off the signature (I guess someone didn't really like Vai.. heheh)

It's a shame though because Vai actually made the effort to give the previous owner a big big signature.

Nice! How does it play? Sounds straty? Ash body?

Have you taken a look under the neck pickup? The design of the joint is interesting. There's an aluminium plate that extends from the neck into the 2nd set of bolts, increasing the sustain. The neck also does not move around in the pocket, like conventional designs.

Bro Faizal, nice strat ! Black's my favourite colour too. Looks Gilmourish. Perhaps you may wish to consider adding this N-tune to the vacant knob. They should have it in black too.
