hmm... the guitar doesn't sound that stratty to me..:p Would describe it as clean, clear and even. Haven't really tried it with overdrives/distortion.. (I'm just lousy at describing tone.) So far it's doing what I want - a superstrat with a wider neck profile than the Ibanez RGs. I'm just waiting to buy the trem bar from Yamaha (missing from the guitar).

Body is indeed Ash.

As for the neck, I haven't taken it out.. someone did a dissection of the PAC 900 series though, which was quite interesting as you've noted. :)

AxeFX to Elevenrack (superb recording interface)
Gmajor goes to the Mesa Mark IV

AxeFX is also connected to another power amp and cab (not in picture)

hydesg, was just researching the eleven. what a coincidence. where did you get it from? Am i able to get it locally? thanks!

you can get it from sweetwater.com =)
mine has got all the presets from sweetwater.

Its a great piece of equipment. very easy to record with protools.

Most definitely. Audiomidi was selling for US705. Care to share how much you got it for plus shipping and GST? Can PM me. Thanks!

^ WOAH SCORE MAN!! Where did you get yours from? Agile ERGs are drop dead sexy with a reasonable price tag. very nice indeed.

Got it ship in by Rondo. I actually wanted the charcoal burst but it's out of stock. The next in line for 30" scale was this one. I was thinking that I dun have any red guitars. So finally decided on the bloodburst. The scale is quite long but some how it dosent feel like playing a bass. I am not a shredder so won't be visiting the higher frets very often. But it can be easily access.

the standard is f# b e a d g b e. i wana try tune it to ebeadgbe. so the 0.72 wont sound so flabby.

hmm you are right on that. I guess it's a reasonable compromise although I'm intimidated by a 27" let alone a 30". I'd be interested to know what string gauge you'd be using.
