What i was trying to achieve was to distort the modulated signals and not modulate the distorted signals....still experimenting though...

you might like to look for a delay with effect loop. Put the gt-2/wah and chorus in the loop of the delay. The first note played will be unmodulated, follow by repeats echoing out the gt-2/wah/chorus.
