+1 on Edder's overdrive, tried one briefly at TAGS 2007, but couldn't hear jack due to the surround sound.

Tried one more in depth at Zakk's shop together with Nanoshred, love the tones I could get out of the pedal. Very responsive overdrive pedal! 8)

j_m_s, i'm not going back to Tubescreamer land. In anycase, NOC3's Nick mentions on his website that his circuit isn't a TS-clone per se, but a "distant relative" so I'm comforted by that... and the extra tone options can get it past "just a TS". So I'm going to give that a shot - its been heavily recommended to me, so I shall give it a shot.

The Pure Drive and Cactus Crunch are the 2 last tries before I shall screw all IC Chippers - no dirt pedal on IC Chips have done what I wanted and they all, ALL OF THEM, have distinct characteristics that I don't enjoy.

Then its back to the good old blackstone.

If the 2 don't work out.

If they do, hurray!

In anycase, the Pure Drive would sell better here don't you think? And I'm sure the BoR will go too.... gotta cater to the masses.
