currently im using ehx english muffin, micro metal muff....but i cant get enough fuzz...any recommendations?really into fuzzy distortion...thx

are you using stock tubes on your muffn? it comes with 2 12ay7eh tubes. try changing one or both to 12ax7's. at less than 10 bucks per tube its the most cost effective option, so u might as well give it a shot

you can also utilize your amp's distortion channel to boost the fuzz, not too much though, otherwise there's excessive background noise...

do give the under rated DOD classic fuzz a try. Its not a "fuzz face" kinda classic fuzz but a compressed sounding fuzz.

I like it for earbleed treble fuzz.... heh heh...

or you can try devi ever/effector 13 pedals..
i kinda love their fuzz units..
its "truly organic" according to their webbie and thats true..

I didn't quite get the organic comments on the Effector 13 pedals... probably because guitarists are schooled to think organic = warm like a tooobscreama!

hehe, its quite interesting to hear devi stuff as organic..

but then, gotta see what does organic mean to individual first

guitarrers are funny people with different defintion to same thing

Could you kindly tell us how we have helped you?

Would like to know what difference it made to your settings/tone/sound and stuff.
