haha how did u noe subversion? but i like the olympic white. i like the look of an LP but... :D

i mean to say that i find the LP repulsive but accept it as it is- a good guitar per se.

I got the Darkburst/Goodwood combo, I emailed Jim, told him the kind of tone and style of music I like and he recommended me the Crossroad/Darkburst or Darkburst/Goodwood combo.

Decided to go the DB/GW combo since its has a fatter tone

Wow. That's cool. Good time to get WCRs especially since now the exchange rate is getting better.

OMG ciel!!!

that epiphone with birdseye i think used to be my first proper electric man ...
im not sure from the pics but it sure looks the same. Does it have like some dings? like a chip in the paint somewhere?

i bought it for $750 at davis donkey years ago man .. that was one fierce axe. truly a product of epiphone's glory years.

Yea.. something I realise also, Epiphone have some great looking tops during the 90's. Now i see the LP in SL, its like so plain and normal 'cheap' looking ones.

epi tops are always veneers they never use a full maple top. just take out the pickups fro man epi you will see the maple top is at beast a few mm. and the flame tops are always veneers. Epis in the 90s used sandwich bodys too if im not mistaken its alder with maghony. Gibsons are the ones with a full top and the wood is the actual flame.

But having said that i had a 90s epi that was light and played like a dream, i regretted sellin it to a friend. i keep bugging him to sell it back to me but he won't budge hurhur

It's a 'Desertburst' finish.

Here's a brighter shot that shows the asymmetrical/unusual flame.
