Maaaaan. Tell us how the 35,000-year-old Fossilized Mastodon Ivory Nut sounds :P

Sounds like plastic mixed with elephant crap .

Nah.....just kidding.
Sounds really sweet . I guess it's the PUs not so much the nut. Anyway , I have not reached that level to tell the difference. :p

You guys are correct. From Davis' window.

Next time the bridge will be made from reclaimed metal from caveman tools, and the pickups will be potted in wax from ancient Egyptian tablets.

I must have been living on a mountain. didn't know SD makes guitars. whats the damage like? would like to see the insides of the hardcase too (I have some weird fetish for hardcases). I like the gold plush interior for MM Ann guitars.

I remember reading that the SD Tele comes with a set of that super-ex Zephyr Silver pickups as well... Had a chance to try them yet?

Haven't got time to do a trial yet on the PU swop. Control plate can also be swopped.

Shredaddict @ the SD35 comes with a standard tweed case (like Fender's) and maroon interior. Gold plush interior would be nice though.

Here's another pic. :)

With that mammoth nut and still a fraction of a fender cost. wow.

BTW, a fraction meaning around half, 4/5 or............

Oh....not as bad as Carboxymoron predicted. 3/1 only :D. Half the price of what he guessed. Guess for fossilized mammoth nut is some expensive nut. None the less, it's really beautiful. Grats :D

was in japan for two weeks mainly to watch X JAPAN in action , stepped into the Shibuya district, ended up with her.

really unexpected, but its a hard-tail rg 1521 prestige!!!!!!!

handcarried her back and sadly got a few nicks in the process

gotta love everything their domestic market has to offer ):

That's a nice one bro. Don't mind me asking if you hand carry her back on a padded case? Cause I hand carried my Jem back with a Mavis (Ishibashi house brand) well padded case and nothing went wrong with my guitar.

BTW, side track a bit, are you part of the Singapore X Japan street army?

Unfortunately i intended to get a hardcase for her, but ended up roaming around the tokyo area too much and the padded case i had didn't do it's job too well ( probably because the overhead compartments were pretty much empty so guitar moved around alot ) was really pleased i got a hardtail rg though, tired of changing tuning on a floating bridge, and the price was..........................well it shouldnt be disclosed hehe.

i never heard that there was a singapore x japan street army, i went there pretty much alone, but i had a hell lotta fun, i even made it to the front of the stands after much 'singaporean' pushing haha
