Hi Sub, I think you will like the Aria with the upgraded Teslas. I am having so much fun with my Aria and the Tesla P90s, I feel guilty about spending so much money on the other guitars. Of course the overall quality isn't exactly Lexus-like, but the fun factor is damn high.
So far, the changes I've made to the humble Aria has transformed it night-to-day. The response of the pickups to the various pedals is good, with the original guitar's tone coming through so...dare I say it, powerfully. Moreover, the 3-way toggle switch gives it 3 distinct sounds, unlike some guitars which sound more or less the same no matter where you flick the switch. My favourite thing to do with this Aria is to select the bridge pickup, set the amp's volume to 3/4 full, the guitar's volume to about 6, tone 6 and then let rip with the GT-500's distortion on mid gain. No clue how to describe any further, but its a lot of fun!
Thanks for the tip-off again, Sub. One of THE buys of the year for me thus far!

decided to keep 'em ARIA pickups in tact, they sound good with my set up, used to $$$ to buy a new pedal instead

Glad to see that your gear has reached such a refined state, absolutely drool-worthy.
I second the Deeelay. I bought the first version, even uglier, still use it now. For a simple, good sounding delay you really cannot go wrong with the Deeelay. Been rather out of touch with new guitar gear, but in my books the Deeelay still is one of the most analogous sounding digital delay.

@Pedal-itis : Orange have this special tone to it, nth quite like any other british amp like marshall, plus..it looks awesome aint it? hahaha
