You can get water or oil based stains from Art Friend. Get the stains and we can do a finish mock up with one of my figured Maple scraps. That'll give you an idea on how the guitar will look.

Think of a transparent/translucent psychedelic finish

Mine has arrived!

now i sure know what does 5A grade means, it's almost 3D-like

Totally dig the bookmatched top and deep set tubular quilt

The next wait is the most arduous......about 6 more weeks before the neck's even done and shipped :? Time to get parts and fit the body nicely, neck arrive...plonk it in and start wailing away!
