very nice, I cant even see the defect that you've mentioned in the pictures that you've posted. a lot of effort there eh :) ?

Well! The defect is there. :) Its only on the top... with the guitar upright on its bottom, its at the lower right. You can't see it due to the lighting.

wah ur guitar narcissist ar? nice man damn nice.

are u going to add color to the flame top?

Wots a narcissist? :P

No man... no colour... its just oiled and go. I kind of want this guitar to be as it is, and not be bothered about stains, bumps, cracks, etc etc... just to play. Of course, it will be a good playing instrument not some toy lah. :P

nice. so when will your whole project be complete? guess you can also be a part time photographer man.

The mahogany back should be done by... end of this month. The guitar neck from USACG should be in by then too.

Perhaps.

Mid December?

Shred: Where'd you get the tung oil from?

Its not tung oil.. its Tru Oil.

I ordered from the States via Ebay.

Was a recommendation by Malcolm, and I am extremely pleased with the results.

Yeap, Tru Oil is not found here. Its a gun stock oil, or gun wood polish oil, or something...

wow.. keep it going daniel. Its going to be one real nice axe. what pickups and electronics are going into this baby?

Hmmm... 2 x Bill Lawrence 280s and a HAS Sound Legacy humbucker.

Electronics will be simple. 1 Vol, 1 Bill Lawrence Q Filter, 5-way selector.

whooh HSS! FR too!

Yepa... Gotoh Floyd Rose.

Find that H S S offers the tones I want. Or well, a H-S will do actually.

22 frets.. ah... yeap.

The neck will be maple with a Pau Ferro board. No friggin inlays on it!
