I'm quite stressed over it.. doing the finishing myself. Oiling it. Man. Just finished coating the electronics cavity with shielding paint. Its Tru Oil coat number 3 so far and the results are STUNNING!

However, any flaws in the wood (scratches dents stains etc) all come out too... man...

but at the end of the day, this guitar is my guitar and I will play it to death, so yeap.

Will post more pics when I'm halfway done with coating the top.

Dood!!! Let's see the top with that couple of Tru-oil coats. Is the conductive shielding paint "flaking" off?

Haha, I will Malcolm. I wanted to call you up last night about something but remembered you were busy @ Church.

Anyway, the shiedling paint doesnt' flake off but when you rub on it, it comes off, much ilke when you try to rub off a pencil mark.

btw ...why do you need shielding when you are using noiseless pups ??

Noiseless pups reduce the hum quite abit. But it can go even quieter. Those wires and pots do pick up some interference
