Boutique Gear: When did you fall for them?

Actually, I decided to dial in some low gain tones... I suddenly see the light. And the potential for stacking just went up 20x.

But I'm weighting the "how often will I use it?" thought now....

It does add that nice emphasis on harmonics for 1. Very very nice And I love the way it goes into ring modulation when playing double (or more) stops, something which typical distortion/od pedals don't do. Emphasizes what the Bstone and Screwdriver does.

i've heard good things about these, but never tried. personally, i think that for driving other pedals/amps and for flexibility, nothing beats a z.vex super duper 2-in-1 :D
*waits for flaming

Abt the RC booster... you might want to experiment with it, test it, extensively.

I find it doesn't really add clarity now when I listen and try them. Last time, I used to think it made the tone come alive? But I guess, I dunno, ears develope and tastes change. The mids sound kind of muddled up.

the RC is a tube screamer clone same goes to AC ...the only differance between the two is e diode on the feedback rail.

We must have a competition, the dude who lists the most TS clones... gets... not a clone, but the real deal, an Ibanez TS9!!! Or something.
