beware of fake behringers

I visited dan's guitar at peninsular plaza and was abit stunned that the behringer dd-100 delay was going for 75.

When i've seen many shops that sell at 55 dollars.

Apparently, the boss told me the rest of them are fakes.

Have you seen any behringer pedals with no serial number at the back? They are apparently parallel imported and have not passed the qc check. That is probably why behringer pedals are getting such bad reviews.

Hmm.

I also have to have a chuckle at this post, most of all because there are plenty of behringer pedals which are copies (albeit much cheaper ones) of famous brands such as BOSS and EHX. So to even have FAKE behringer is something to behold.

That said, I'm a happy user of my behringer BEQ700. wahaha

well apparently some had the serial number torn off. You cant get warranty for those if you go back for repair. so thats the catch for a cheaper price lor. as far as i noe..

theres an old thread somewhere round the forum here over a behringer midi controller, dude got it from parallel importer, later got problem, having warranty issues coz the serial number tag missing from the unit.

The thread shud be round 1-2 years old. Can search and see if its still around. Heh, fun to read back for entertainment if its still around

but i'm curious, how come parallel import will not have serial number sticker? aren't the stickers supposed to be sticked onto the units itself in the factory, no matter afterwards they are shipped to different places?
