Actually, sometimes it's not that girls only view bands as boybands....there are those who are into music also, but just can't come to terms with how their partners spend so much time and effort on an inanimate object (ie, your guitar).

They just can't handle the concept of fighting with a hunk of wood with strings for the attention of their partners.

My girlfriend was like that too, until I convinced her that music is inanimate if it was just a hobby, a passing fancy. As a passion, it takes life.

A bit abstract and hard to explain, but it's worth a shot! :lol:
