Yngwie Malmsteen
I love most of his songs from the earlier albums, and a select few from the later albums (1996 onwards)
He's also the influence of why I chose to purchase a Strat for my 1st axe when I started playing guitar. Though admittedly, my obsession with large headstock is developed by myself..... they just make the strat looks complete.
And not to miss out 2 more things:
1) His insane (though not the best) speed
2) "YOU'VE UNLEASHED THE FOCKIN' FURY!"

For his crazy whammy, and a few songs. Maybe his humor as well (Beekeeping and "postcards" on his site).

For his incredible melodic playing!
