Hey jeepers,

I've got a acl injury as well that just doesn't want to heal. Funny thing is tendon injuries don't show up but they sure slow u down.

Hope those MO's dont think I am bluffing when I have to tell them about it.

Good luck on your recovery though... Sucks to hurt everytime the temp drops or u climb up/down stairs.

jony: my doctor told me the only way for acl injuries to heal completely is to go for operation. my knee doesnt hurt when the temp drops or when i climb up/down stairs but it really hurts when i run. NAPFA's coming for me so i really need to lose the weight i gained during the period when i just hurt my knee, but i cant run for more than 10mins without my knee hurting like hell.

anyway, just get a letter from your doctor to shut those MOs up. good luck on your recovery as well. oh btw, have you gone for an MRI to see how bad it really is?

Sounds like a good idea... MRI. Not sure why the past treatments I got all were X rays. As if they suspected I cracked a bone. Eliminate all variables I guess. 8)

i served my NS yet..currently in last academic year of poly.

if i get pes B..i tink i'll juz leave it at tt.

i dun wanna do stunt juz to downgrade..like edder sed..break leg..

what if u subconsciously deliberately break a leg juz to be downgraded and due to some complications your bone recovers abnormally? it could be for life.

so i tink.juz bear with it.

when i was in NS, got a platoon mate got his shin hit by a sledge hammer, and somehow he never got downgraded and he kept failin his IPPT because of that. he only got downgraded when he was abt to ORD. So breaking a leg may not get u wat u want...

Got another platoon mate who was downgraded becasuse of back injury, and then 6months before he ORD, he got upgraded and have to go for vocation training course ...so if u want to downgrade make sure its permanent

A Int Spec in a small air camp in choa chu kang... haha... had a nice boss (Maj) and still in contact with him now. 8 - 5, towards the end, went 830 - 430. Combat vocation, and only had to attend 2 exercises and played agressor. haha.

For 2 years

I traded my Fender with M16....
I traded my Gibson for a Law Tube.........
I traded playing 9 notes per sec to Running 2.4km 9 min....
Instead of Rocking with my Fender I firing M16....
Instead of playing heavy Riff with my Gibson I carry a Law Tube around like a turtle....

Enjoy my army life and have great army buddies but lost some of the geees for guitars.....
