Haha..Now that you've got me thinking.. Any recommendations on what pick up to put in? or where to get it done?

I know the stock nashvilles have TexMex strat pickups in there (just googled it) Any comments on this?

actually its not gona be cheap..the routing job for the cavity would be ex..unless u do it yourself..

DIY routing? Woah! Don't think I'm quite up for that. Unless maybe, it's a simple shallow route to the current neck pickup. Will that work?

But to be honest, I'd much rather trust "my precious" to someone who is better able qualified and able to do it. So any suggestions who/where to do it?

indeed routing ain't cheap,but even if you DIY yourself and ruin the guitar as a whole,how much more would you have lost?a routing job won't hit a 100...the tele?

Lol. Not really sure about these pickups... actually, the middle pickups got not much uses right? and your strumming will be affected as well...

I read that the middle pickup kinda adds that extra Strat flavour to it.. may not be the best strat sounds.. but hey.. saves the trouble of lugging two guitars around?

Anyway.. i'm going to KIV the idea for now.. maybe it'll be a new years resolution. Cheers for the ideas and help guys! Merry Christmas!

These are my Teles......

MIJ Tele. Has been neglected for quite awhile (thus the rusty strings and dust !!)

This one is a mix breed....J&D thinline body, the rest are from Squire (including pups. Already changed the Sky pup. Didn't quite like the sound. Prefers the stock pup better). Like it ?

Before the "mod", it was just okay (the J&D pups are a little weak in my opinion). However, it sounded way better after the transplant. This is my fav axe for now.....
