i dont know, i love melodic death metal. Stuff like in flames and children of bodom are my thing.:twisted: But then again i dislike melodic metalcore stuff like atreyu, bfmv and the new slipknot material.

No joking, I find Manowar just too arrogant and self-righteous. Their music's nice but I can't stand their attitude...

Post-metal? I like Neurosis. A bit draggy to those into thrash and power metal but Neurosis's songs are pure genius.

This thread is moving too fast for me to keep up! I like Kataklysm's older stuff but their new stuff is too melodic for me. When it comes to melodic, I'd prefer Insomnium. The best melodeath I've heard in awhile.

Grindcore? I like Anaal Nathrakh but they mix grindcore with black and industrial. Most extreme band I've ever heard.
