Soft's Drummer / Drum Exchange- SLOGAN and IDENTITY needed

Good designs weckl-and DT. Anyways, from my opinion of the 2nd Design of weckl-x. The one with the top view of drum settings.
If the t-shirts were to be white, it looks like I''ve just spoilt the t-shirt, with a botch of curry from the roti prata. No offence though, it's just from my view. Mybe I got it wrong.
Maybe it would look great with a five setting drum piece? But overall good ideas, simple,
Hey why not we print our designs and bring it down to the next drum meet up and vote. see who got the majority votes for the Slogans, t-shirt design and others?

Like as if u put in some tv ad.. and the guy With the deep Voice in the back ground who does the voice of all the Movie trailers.. sure sound nice la..

Yup... great design... it will be a pity if it is not printed on jersey material http://www.oldjerseys.netfirms.com/material.html
I am suggesting adopting VHS design to be used for the cap if that's the next step to go. Quite a number of soft drummers like wearing caps... i don't usually wear a cap but if it is soft and a nice design, i don't mind wearing it on the streets... 8)

with regards to copy and font..
it is DRUM EXCHANGE SINGAPORE.. cannot be singapore drum exchange
could you amend it and let us preview again? it must read from left to right (possibly top-down) as such
fonts-wise, are you able to suggest a font to use for all text?
You may use up to 2 fonts (a sans-serif and a script) but we would strongly prefer just one font.
in future when we produce templates and collaterals this will be more economical.

Can someone help here to finished up what Weckl_X has done (Change the wordings - Singapore Drum Exchange to Drum Exchange Singapore then maybe the www.soft,com.sg will now be at the top) ..... Sorry I've been sick for a couple of days already somemore stupid doctor gave me wrong medicine almost go hospital last nite. Also I dont have Adobe and dunno how to do it here.
Also - With an idea of the above Tees (that we are going to do as an Identity for Drum Exchange Singapore) - We hope to have it on 2 types of Tees as Background eg I Black & 1 White Tee - then you all can choose to have both or either one colour (but must be contrasting enough)
With above - as agreed after finalisation - James WSoft) will help us get company who can do it at lowest cost for us....then at the same time
Can someone now also (Weckl if you could help here - I know you are very busy) - come up with THE Drum Exchange Singapore BANNER ( We are doing 2 Banner of this)......and must compliment the Whole (an Uniform Identity) the ...T-Shirts
With both in place - I then will get someone (one of my bro & close friend)to do up the Bass-Drum Logo for our Mapex on the Kit (assuming if the Bass Drum Skin is WHITE) ...Here also I will get my Bro to make another one on a Black Bass Drum Reso - Probably a Remo) so when our next drum comes in - Wow.wwwwww Weeeee - We get everyone in Wear the same Tees, put up 2 banners, with the Kits & all the Drummers - take a Group Photograph - Then ....Time for us to go showcase ourself to the public liao...do lots of publicity...maybe even at Orchard Road lah..Kekekeke..nice hor...............Sure attract alot of attention one.

At the end of the day - It's the people's Choice - Yes I did mentioned INVOLVEMENT & OWNERSHIP here .... and so I believe many of you had agreed to Weckl's Tees Design (just to get the wording Drum Exchange Singapore right)....as regards to the "Drum Exchange Singapore Logo" - which is our Icon/Image/Logo etc....whatever we call it.

Thank you Bro Weckl - It was an honour indeed being so-call by Brothers here as "Chairman" - I understand - it's will be easier also for you to get things done - or else everyone start calling you - cha-lat liao....
But taking this opportunity - I am most pleased to clarify something - The word "Chairman Of Drum Exchange Singapore".
Everyone, My name is Eric (hehehehe :lol: ), a Moderator of Soft Forum (Drum Section) - this is really what I really am.
The Chairman of Drum Exchange was a connotation what everyone calls me eg (DH, rla, Reuben - all those in this Exchange Committee when we 1st started off to having meetup) - I was honoured really though I was coined.
The purpose of having meetup was to foster closer relationship among Soft Drummers here through sharing and enjoying the hobby or passion by having face-to-face meetup......I foresee with meetups as brothers & sisters get to know each other in person, besides just communicating through the forum will Make my life as a Moderator easier too (This is true - less Bashing - give face mah when you know the person as personal relationship develops to it's next level)...........To be honest little did I foresee it comming that It has now grown to such a level ...that's nicee
Today - Let's say I'm already being coined a Chairman (so-called) and we have a Vice-Chairman also now (which is plainsman here) - together with the Existing Committee Members Of Drum Exchange runs the Soft Drum Exchange Singapore Monthly Meetup......What I wanna say is this
"The Chairman & Vice Chairman" is nothing far greater than the Committee Members at large (we are all Committee Members) - and are all at equal level having equal SAY. Every of our Committee Members has an equal amount of SAY individually as that of the Chairman or Vice Chairman......Of course "Soft" (I'm refering to the Owner of Soft Forum James here) have all overriding power if he deems something is not right as managed by the current committee where hinself is a Committee Member here. (Just For Info)
In actual fact, the Committee is to be AS FLAT AS POSSIBLE in it's organisation within the Committee, all with an equal SAYS - The only thing that shall guide us (the committee) in Organising "Drum Exchange Singapore" is only a ...... " Culture and Clear Objective here within Soft "
That goes to say that - Anything that is GOOD and BENEFICAIL for Our Drumming Community As A Whole in the Soft Drum Exchange Singapore and ... that is within our capabilities - We will all work together as a Team towards making it happen.....so that we can all be happy and proud as a Family Of Drummers.....It's not really as easy as it seems to be, but are all doing our best - cause we are dealing with Humans here from diverse background.
Anyone can disagree with what I say or anyone here, if it harms our Drumming Community - such is the way we will be managing this Drum Exchange together within the committee ... A decision is made on the WHOLE not just on a single group of people on What's Best For Everyone Here. Actually there is only one major concern we look at - ( Anything That Tears This Community Or A Drummer Down Will Not Be Accepted)....this been the Most Important call it Rue governance whatever....
I say this because - firstly I want every of the Committee Members to know that openly, and secondly for everyone of you drummers here to know that too- that - In Order for Drum Exchange Singapore To Grow and Sustain over Time- A Healthly Environment Is Crucially Needed - This Becomes Our Culture That Keeps Us Together As A Community.....nothing else will.
Look at Singapore. How does Singapore Keeps it's people in Harmony....They knew what are the Barriers that will tearit's people apart and get divided eg mainly Politics, Religion & Race.....If Singapore can managed this 3 differentiation Aspect, people will be united right?....so here we are today - and Singapore had achieved it's vision. This is most important if people do not get united - then nothing will follows that bring us altogether to where we are today as "Singaporeans & Singapore" something we all can be really proud of ... The same goes with our Exchange..but in a slightly different way - But the Pre-requisite is the same - Take Away All Barriers That Will Divide The Drumming Community"...
And that's why you all take ownership and involvement in things we do here - though the final decision will still have to be decided by - The Majority Of The Current Committee Members and not a single person eg The Chairman or the Vice Chairman alone.....This Principle will stay to keep Soft Drum Exchange Alive.
Together We Are Soft Drum Exchange Singapore ....... If We All Cannot Sustain and We Get Divided - Drum Exchange Singapore will cease it's existence and operation- Because Without All You Drummers (everyone is precious here)- There Is No such a thing called - Soft Drum Exchange Singapore.
