It's a tele that I got one of the builders on TGP to put together based completely on my specs. Parts were upgrades from his usual components, had to pay the upcharges

Thanks man. The nitro lacquer layer is REALLY thin. There's some light linear checking going on that the photos don't show, and the surfaces were also hand-rubbed to look more naturally aged.

I've been curious about it for some time, how is the bridge PU tone affected when mounted direct to body vs to the bridge plate?

Actually i've not wired it up, i'm curious about it too

its a basswood body from some tele copy, eden strat neck with large headstock. always love large headstock strat necks..
done a route to accom. a hum in the bridge position.planning to route 1 for the neck as well.
