Omg?!?! So freaky!
+1 for the transparent white finish on your tele kennethC, its awesome
KennethC: That white trans finish is really something. Its not a finish that you see on tele's often. What are the specs on her? I'm guessing Ash body?
Thanks junkie
Specs:
USACG Extra Lightweight Premium Grade Swamp Ash body (right about 3lbs.)
Warmoth Vintage Modern Flame Maple neck, 22 frets, 6105SS wire, 59 roundback, 10in. radius
The neck is finished in nitro but is nicely sanded so it feels very smooth, no stickiness whatsover. The fingerboard edges are also rolled very nicely for comfy playing. Fret edges were nicely rounded too.
Gotoh Vintage Locking Kluson Tuners
Callaham Bridge (double cutaway) and Brass Saddles
CTS/Switchcraft electronics
Came with Klein T-1 and Tele P90 pickups, but I now have Stuart Fine Custom Blackguards in there.
Finished in a transparent white blonde with hand-rubbed nitro lacquer and light relic-ing overall. Looks slightly used, almost like a closet classic, not like a beat-up/mauled tele
The whole guitar is really light, it can't be any more than 6.5 lbs, I'm guessing. Lightest tele I've ever picked up.
Thanks junkie
