The DS1 is a distortion device NOT AN OVERDRIVE ...
overdrive = soft clipping device
where the gain is inversely proportional to the input signal level
distortion = hard clipping
where the signal level is restricted within a range.
The Ds 1 Set clean eventho sounds like an overdrive does NOT act like one when the strings are struck....you get less muddy mids and improved note clarity

Andy Timmons signed mine *seal of approval* and i played an improvised version of electric gypsy in my clips which comes suprisingly close to nailing the sound of his lone star
Best part was no amp was used!

Works great with both my strat and PRS.
Both channels on is an awesome rhythm tone, kick in my TS style OD (Lovepedal E) before it to add some saturation. Kick on the Gworx boosty after that for a solo.
I can't say I've been this satisfied in a long while.
I can start out wanting to play for only 30 mins, and then study. But I end up playing for 2 hours not realising that I've long exceeded my 30 minutes.

Walao...both of you copy me lah! haha have fun dude, you aint gonna regret it, the Vox really takes pedals well and not to mention its super loud (i play at 1/4 watts at night) and that amp is kinda banned from Goose's place as his wife couldnt stand all that racket it was causing...and its only a 4 watter!

heh, if we dont have those people who get pissed off for being told of having ridiculously priced gear that sounded ok or those people who cant help but tell off those people with ridiculously priced gear that sounded ok only, there wont be so many jokes about geetarers in general... especially on jokes bout guitarist changing light bulbs.
end of the day, they are just changing light bulbs, aint wiring the house, to power up the light bulb. Unfortunately, both side still cant see without the wiring, theres no bulb to change at all.
