goose... you have absolutely NO IDEA how the seventh on 18v sounded on my valbee.
it is crazy!!!!! the clarity is awesome, it is not overwhelming or whatsoever. i dont need to change an amp to accomodate it!!
its such a revelation to me, and i was thinking of selling it!

18V really tightens up the bass and increases the headroom....it sounds even bigger! However I find the lack of saturation at that voltage not very appealing for my style of playing. To me the 7th sounds best at 12V.

I really enjoyed playing the 7th live.....Heard from the crowd that only once the crappy amps in homeclub actually sounded good, and that was when the 7th was used:)

12v... i dont have the means of getting one 12v output because im still using the fuel tank jr, i can only double my 9v outputs by combining.
what power supply are you using ized? 18v works for the valbee but it may not elsewhere... the light gain sounds awesome, and with my sahasrara pushing it i get into high gain saturation already (Y).

Keith please do drop by my place with the seventh ... just some final upgrades.

I am also still being surprised by it's versatility getting reviews from the users.

Cheers ...fellas.

really?? thats cool... i realised at 18v, the low gain green channel sounds are enhanced. however at max gain (red channel), it gets kinda harsh and has that sizzling sound which gets kinda ear piercing... yes i suppose this is the sizzle shredcow mentioned about. At 9v its not so apparent.
but i'm starting to like the low/med gain stuff with the seventh even more. i've been home the whole day, experimenting. apparently i'm putting my compressor after the seventh, and my sahasrara after the comp. it works better for me this way.

what are the mods goose?

with the mod...less sizzle and fuller sounding. More mids and smoother too!

Keith...thats the reason why I like it at 12V....9 V i find its not tight enough for my kinda sound and 18V dosent have enough saturation for me. 12V is where the magic is ;)
