Service Feedback

When I first got my Ibanez GSR200 bass (from Swee Lee Sims Drive) its neck was warped. I just sent it to Dan Music at Peninsula and for $15 it's been fine ever since.

These things can't be helped lah I guess. Ain't the end of the world and certainly not worth the effort of buying a new guitar or finding fault with unsuspecting music store assistants over. :wink:
 
well, im not a guitar dude or anywthing but i have no problems with my drums... i put it not covered inside an airconditioned room... its still ayy okayy... hee just my 2 cents, cover em up with something lah, it will help..:D

for swee lee sales service, i think both outlets are great in service lah... especially the sim drive one, the dude was polite and was willing to give great service and was open to what im looking for...

But back to the topic... Some guys got it spot on... If you want something, who cares about the service? And if you're not happy, do YOU think complaining on the net to us helps? Go report it to the authorities!

yeah i hate swee lee for their BAD BAD BAD SERVICES..yo swee lee guy READ THIS...oh yeah I'm from Indonesia, and I'm going to tell everyone in here how they failed to give a good service as a music store...

sorry for invading this thread but i just have to say:

I have never seen a store with such consistency in crap service, as I have seen Swee Lee's.

It's forgivable if it's once in a while, but when it's ALL THE TIME, you know there's something really wrong. It's no longer a place for musicians. It's now a place for business, and only business.

so thats why if you need to get anything from there, juz dont expect any service at all, go in, try, if you have to buy, pay, den say bye bye

if you get any service then its a plus point, if you don't, den well if you werent expectin any in the first place den youve broken even
 
It does make u wonder that although SL has a presence here in SOFT and probably have seen the numerous complaint threads abt them and yet it happens again and again (the complain threads). They seem to be doing nothing abt it. They seems to be pretty complacent abt this
 
hmm i just went there last month at bras basah to buy a epiphone for a friend

i talked to a guy named adam who was very nice and gave me a good deal

$600 for epi lp w/ bag (gst inclusive)

he was a bit busy with other customers but he was still able to accomodate me. i had no problems whatsoever

another is when i went to sims to look for a pedal. i was supposed to buy a cheap pedal and asked a sales guy, then he advised me not to get it as it sounds bad compared to the others. so in the end i did not buy anything. to me thats not bad service at all. f business was the only thing then he wouldnt have cared. btw i think that guy is subversion hehe

i think some staff could have given bad service to others but not all SL staff are like that. also you have to understand that you are not the only one in there. plus, id say 50-70% of people going to SL are just window shopping, they probably know this that's why they dont really bother entertaining you unless you approach them

other music stores are more attentive because they need customers, i think that's basically it
 
also ive been to other guitar shops in peninsula, honestly i dont like the atmosphere there esp if you are just looking around. at least at SL you can roam around and look at stuff w/o anybody bothering you
 
u guys have got a point there. SL service isn't necessarily bad...........maybe they had a bad day or had 2 endure a scolding frm a customer(highly unlikely) or something along dat line. btw napalm, sub doesn't work at SL i tink..........if u didn't like davis or music theme at peninsula, go 2 luther. their service is great! :smt023
