went there the day before. asked for help from this big size curly hair malay staff whos playing for a chinese band i think. the 'oh so cool' dude didn't even look up at me and just called out to another skinny young punk new malay staff to serve while showing me his (full of holes) pissed off face.

the new punk's dying to go back to his relak corner and slack with his colleagues maybe or maybe not too happy that i disrupted his afternoon slack session at the cashier area, that's why he talked like crap. think he got speech problem. way he talked was so freaking irritating, can't even be bothered with him and ask him to get his ass back to his relak corner. thus left.

hmmm maybe i'm not purchasing something expensive enough. but again, not all swee lee staffs or malays are like these 2 crap. for example Jumat was good. maybe those hardworking ones should teach these 2 a thing or two. they're doing sales man. SALES. Think you're a rock star cooped up in a music shop?? feeling like shit? get a grip. leave then. and don't give singapore's service quality a bad name! (but again, maybe when it comes to serving angmohs, their attitude will be completely different!) ha.

uhm as for feedback form..... think they'll just read, crush it, dump it, laugh, and carry on slacking. much better to share this wonderful experience in this forum. and see how many more crap experiences fellow softies kenna in swee lee the mighty music store..

i think theres a search function round here which will bring up lotsa long and whinning thread about how a salesman has done so much wrong and "i" as a customer deserved better service or that certain company having bad serivce and iam hurting so bad that i need to write in words and post it within the forum!

wooohooooooo

Their sales service never change when I was a kid in the 70s with no spending power. Now I have the spending power I will never buy anything from that store

mwahahahaha, thats even further. So which shop do you spend the money. Lets talk about a place where we can shop for fellow disgruntled bros bros

well it's pretty obvious... someone here is one of those crap 'relaking' at the cashier area... fiddling with the comp acting busy dreaming of being a 'rockstar' trapped in a music shop, hoping that a big fat ang moh walks in and purchase a gibson. and being happy thinking that the boss will think that he's hardworking despite the fact that he gets no commission! god.

Thats what i did!!Now that i have the spending power,i say f!!k it and look somewhere else.bought my amps/guitars online and only at selected shops locally...
Nevermind about the high price i paid for some.

I think it was my fault. When I was young I always head down to their old Plaza Singapura branch and drool on the guitars. Never buy anything. :D

I'm sure once a while people encounter bad services, but I guess it is better for us to forgive and forget, why get frustrated over some incidents? You are definitely bigger than that.

I seldom get angry over their services. My trick: I assume there is no service at all, so if I do get some, I'm happy.

hmm, what can i say about swee lee ah... well i went down to firstly the bras basah outlet... with an intent to "survey" on some electronic drums but they have a display on a td3 kit which was like not what i wanted. I approached it and saw a little ang moh guy beating the crap outta it... Quote" no one was supervising"Quote...

when i asked one of the slacking malay dude in the counter playing his computer, he replied in a disgusted manner. and when i asked him can i try out those electric kits u got there, he said, after a scoff, a deep angry OKAY.!

ghee boy than followed up to the displayed e-kit, turned it on and i played. But instead him going away, he stood beside me, like im his new found girlfriend, but ironically looking at me in a sinister way. Remember my quote about the ang moh boy earlier? Let's ponder for a moment here.......

Than after some time, he said to me " Don't hit the thing too hard, it will have a stick mark"... all the while thet pads were like filled up with stick marks the ang moh boy b4 me played... another irony...

than one of his friends go and "entertained" or "gave a brief lesson" to the father of the ang moh boy who played the drums earlier about how to "scale"... he gave an extremely "brief" session and two of my friends stupidly goes gaa gaa about it... politics is power...

and alas, i said to the long hair ghee boy, " Do u sell modules? just the modules?" he shook his head...

well thats the bras basah edition. stay tuned for the sims drive edition..:D happy days everyone!

When I enter a shop, any shop, eg. Best Denki, if a salesperson stands by the Vacum Cleaner section, I presume he knows about the cleaner more then the washing machine.

Nevertheless, what Im trying to say is that, this 'Ghee Guy' that you mentioned seems to be more of a bass player then a drummer. I won't condem his 'brief session' in explaining a digital drum. In fact, i would credit him for at least trying within his mean.

Where is the 'politic' that you mentioned?
