from my buying experience @ swee lee: Ibanez pedals has 20% off. not sure if it's applicable to ALL ibanez pedals though. if you do find out, please share it here... 8)

I hate to admit it but musical preference is a fickle as a 12 year old mulling over which computer game to buy.

And YES, you HAVE to buy something to start. Your budget is obviously small, judging from the way you post your questions. People have commented, that don't waste your dough on cheap flangers.

So what will it be? Listen to advice given by experienced people?

I don't know. You decide. You find out for yourself.

And.

Transport issues? Dude, its Singapore, walk, take a cab, bus, MRT, cycle, ask parents, ask friends, ask relatives, group outing etc etc etc.

If you want something you gotta go the distance, and the distance isn't far to begin with.
