I can think of a marshall guvnor 2... it has a mids and mids freq selector, you can tweak it to your taste or till it don't collide with your wah.

there's a really experienced staff there at yamaha who tried all the effects and he told me that all the FAB effects work great except the chorus.. he said that the chorus was like there wasnt chorus..

You can hear the FAB chorus in this clip. As well as the FAB overdrive and modded FAB delay. I don't think it's like there isn't a chorus. It's definitely very effected, just that maybe it's not the type of chorus he's used to hearing.

Chorus is good stuff... perhaps a tad too 80s for some people - they refuse to use it, but used with distortion (before & after) yeilds some nice, interesting tones.
